The first guests of this campsite pitched their tents in 1962 under a few apple trees, since then Alpencamp Kärnten has been developing and today it is possible to camp in a beautiful orchard in the shade of more than 80 years old trees while watching the apples grow and feel the energy of nature. Alpine Camp is a perfect destination for your camping holiday all year round! 

The accommodations

Camping at Alpine Campsite will make you feel at home but in the middle of nature! This campsite has been a part of the village for more than 55 years and it has a lovely neighbourhood atmosphere. The camping pitches are distributed in different locations around the campground. Some of them are in the orchard, where is only possible to access if vehicles with a maximum height of 2.80 meters, because of the apple trees. The plots by the birches trees are well-greened, in an area covered with fine, water-permeable roll gravel, so it will stay clean under your tent. This area is located in the northern and northwestern parts of the Alpine camp, and it has a parking lot suitable for all vehicles, including large motorhomes, as well as, large tents! At the westernmost end of the campsite, there are the Comfot pitches, equipped with water, electricity, and sewage connection. There is the option of having a glamping experience in a beautiful chalet with all the luxury and comfort. Fully equipped bungalows and apartments are also available for rent.

The services

You will have access to sanitary facilities, where toilets, showers, and washbasins are at your disposal, as well as a laundry area equipped with washing machines and a dryer. A powerful wifi connection is available around the campsite. There is a lounge with a tv room where campers can rest and a small shop where you can find fresh products.

Depending on the time of the year you will be able to experience one of the most beautiful scenes in the Alpine Campsite when spring arrives in the valley and the snow still lies on the mountains! The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, cycling, climbing, and many other adventure activities with a plus of an incredible view of the Alps. An Aquarena is only a 10-minute walk from the Alpencamp and it is available for all guests at an absolutely special price. There you will find many indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a climbing circus, a lazy river, massage benches, a children's area, and much more.
