An undulating terrain in a tall pine forest. On the sea, there is a beautiful dune thickly carpeted with luxuriant vegetation. Surrounded by a high pine forest, Camping Baia Verde promises peace and tranquility on the Tuscan coast.
The site is particularly popular with families with children of all ages and offers perfect conditions for swimming in the Mediterranean. The exceptionally beautiful campsite is also dog-friendly and impresses with its spaciousness.
The Baia Verde campsite is located on the Mediterranean coast of the province of Grosseto in the Italian region of Tuscany. On clear days, vacationers have a view of the island of Elba, which is itself part of the Tuscan archipelago. The next largest municipality is less than 5km away. This is Castiglione della Pescaia, which includes more than 7,200 inhabitants. The small town is enriched by historical attractions, such as the 11th century Pieve di San Giovanni Battista.
The entire campsite has a total of 1,050 parceled pitches, ranging in size from 60 to 100 m². On a total area of 20 hectares, there are also 62 rental accommodations and 105 pitches for permanent campers. The Baia Verde campsite impresses not only with its excellent location and beach, but also with its high-class and fully equipped facilities.
Campers can use washing machines and dryers, shop in the supermarket or enjoy typical Italian dishes in the on-site restaurant. For children, there are various activities and a playground. In general, there is a relaxed atmosphere at Camping Baia Verde, thanks to which all guests immediately feel at ease and easily connect with each other.
The outdoor fitness park located directly on the spot is very popular with active vacationers, because here you can play sports activities in the surroundings. Also popular are excursions through the idyllic pine forests, which are renowned for the very distinctive smell that is so typical of the Mediterranean region.
Cultural and historical attractions are provided by the nearby Castiglione delle Pescaia with its Rocca Pisana, which was built as early as the 12th century. In Panta Ala, the neighborhood closest to the city, visitors can admire the medieval stronghold near the coast. Windsurfing and kitesurfing along the Mediterranean coast are also at the top of the agenda, also offered by regional schools for beginners.
