The Gretl Am See campsite is located directly on Lake Caldaro, in the autonomous province of Bolzano. Due to the characteristics of the lake and the climate (in particular due to the presence of almost constant wind) this lake is very popular with both tourists and lovers of water sports.

On the shores of the lake, moreover, there are orchards and vineyards… and it is precisely among this vegetation that the Gretl Am See campsite is located.

Accommodations

Gretl Am See campsite is the classic campsite with pitches of all sizes. Small ones are even available for motorcycles, up to large ones for caravans and campers.

The pitches are all well shaded thanks to the fact that they are cut out in the middle of the vegetation which also has tall and leafy trees.

Fun

In addition to the beaches on the lake and the presence of a swimming pool available to guests, at the Gretl Am See campsite you can do activities that are not available elsewhere: sailing, windsurfing, rowing, and classic swimming are just a few examples.

Inside the campsite there is a free wi-fi connection, a bar and a restaurant.

As for the toilets, the campsite offers bathrooms and showers with hot water supplied all day and without tokens and a laundry.

Reservations

The peculiarity of this campsite is that it does not accept reservations. It is a choice made to guarantee maximum freedom for guests, who arrive and stay when they like and leave when they want.

The nearby Pension Remichhof

There is a small pension near the campsite. The guests of this pension have free access to the campsite, without having to pay any fees. It is an initiative taken in order to allow camping guests to invite friends and relatives during their stay, offer them comfortable accommodation at the pension, and spend time together in the camping areas and on the shores of the lake.
